On the day, they will install our modern, reliable prepayment meter. We use industry-standard equipment designed for accuracy and ease of use. The installation process typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on your current setup.
Our engineers will also walk you through how the meter works, show you how to read it, and explain the initial setup process, including how to activate your account and make your first top-up. We ensure you feel completely comfortable with your new system before we leave.

Energeia Pay offers multiple flexible ways to top up your account, ensuring you're never without energy. Choose the method that suits you best:
- Online Portal: Our secure web portal allows you to top up anytime, anywhere using your debit/credit card. Simply log in to your account, enter the desired amount, and your credit will be sent directly to your meter.
- Mobile App: Download the Energeia Pay app for iOS and Android. Our intuitive app makes topping up quick and easy, with options to save payment details for future use and view your balance. (Screenshots within the app illustrate the process.)
- Retail Outlets: Visit any PayPoint or Payzone outlet across the UK. Provide your prepayment card or key, make a cash payment, and your top-up will be credited to your meter.
Your top-up will typically reach your meter within minutes, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted energy supply.

- Reading Your Meter: Your smart meter has a clear digital display that shows your remaining credit. A quick glance will tell you exactly how much energy you have left. Your meter also displays your daily consumption.

We understand that sometimes credit can run lower than anticipated. Energeia Pay offers an emergency credit feature to ensure you're not left in the dark:
- Emergency Credit: When your meter credit runs low (e.g., below £2), your meter will provide an option to activate emergency credit. This gives you a buffer to continue using energy until you can top up.
- Activating Emergency Credit: Follow the on-screen prompts on your meter to activate this feature. It's designed to be simple and straightforward.
- Restoring Your Supply: Once you've topped up, the amount of emergency credit you used will be automatically deducted from your top-up. To restore supply, ensure your top-up has registered on your meter. If you've been off supply, your meter will automatically reconnect once sufficient credit is applied.
